PAST
Founded in 2011, Northville IASA started off as a small club with a few members. However, we rapidly grew into a club with many members coming from a variety of cultural backgrounds. Every year, we host Desi Tashan, a high-school Bollywood dance competition. In the past, all proceeds from this event have been donated to Vista Maria, a charity that helps abused girls in Detroit. We are proud to announce that we have donated well over $140,000 to this organization over the years!! This year, we will donate all funds from Desi Tashan to Pratham USA, a non-profit aimed at providing less-fortunate kids in India with a proper education.
